About Us

Queenscliffe Lighthouse Theatre Group is based on the Bellarine Peninsula, successfully staging musical and other theatre productions each year.

Our group started in 2001 with just 8 founders, who each contributed $50 and their considerable energy. Today we have over 150 volunteer members, drawn from a variety of places and experiences. We enjoy working together to create good theatre.

What We Do
QLTG aims to provide an opportunity for members to perform on stage or to assist with off stage duties such as wardrobe, props, lighting and front of house. Over the 10 years members have improved their skills and several have moved on to perform in theatres in Geelong and further afield, even on television. The Company has singers, tap dancers, actors, together with volunteers who assist with costumes, front of house and other duties. We are fortunate in having a rehearsal pianist who has played in every performance. QLTG shows provide great entertainment for audiences from the local community and further afield and include people from residential hostels. QLTG is a dedicated group of performers who are grateful for the opportunities provided by a hard working committee.

Committee of Management
Due to the efforts of QLTG Committee of Management, of which there are 10 members, the Company is financially self-sufficient and looks forward to fostering new talent and expanding its performing horizons into the future.
